The idea of the Fresh Air Is Free campaign is to encourage visitors to spend some time on their holiday without using their cars
This seemed like a golden opportunity to show just how lovely the surrounding area is. From our lodges the towns of Winderemere and Ambleside are within easy walking distance, and there are a host of other walks and rides available that don't involve your car.
